Inner Peace for the Empath 5 week course

Joining together for this 5 week course to find the inner peace that already exists within AND how to nurture and empower your sensitivity so you can truly be the person you are meant to be!

This is a new course combining the Finding Inner Peace with Everyday Mindfulness AND Meditation for Empaths.

WHAT IS AN EMPATH?
An Empath is a term to describe a person that experiences a high level of sensitivity, intuition and great deal of empathy often to the point of taking on the energy and pain of others.

Empaths can tend to feel emotionally drained or stressed in crowds. They are naturally giving, make beautiful friends and highly attuned to other people’s moods, good and bad. They feel everything, sometimes to an extreme. If they are around peace and love, their bodies take these on and flourish. Empaths are super responsive and being around people, the busyness of every day life and excess noise can be draining, therefore needing some time alone and/or in nature to recharge their batteries.

When overwhelmed or dealing with the impact of stressful emotions, empaths can suffer anxiety, panic attacks, depression. Empaths tend to get fatigued easily.

Empaths are intuitive and can usually sense what’s going on around them, it is important to develop this ability and learn to distinguish between their own and other people’s emotions. This will help empaths find positive relationships and avoid becoming involved with people who take advantage of them.


BEING AN EMPATH IS A GIFT!
An empath can avoid the fatigue, exhaustion and overload once they learn how to centre themselves and work with their sensitivities rather than against them, when they learn to stay in their body, clear their energy regularly, develop their intuition and become self aware. The gifts of sensitivity and empathy are precious. We need to keep opening our hearts. When you look within and begin to understand your empathic nature, you can then flourish.

ON THIS 5 WEEK JOURNEY YOU WILL LEARN

How to “switch off the mind” with

Basic meditation and mindfulness techniques.
How to centre and calm yourself daily.
How to embrace and appreciate your sensitivity and protect your energy levels with meditation and visualisations.
An introduction to developing your intuition.
Learn how to really listen to your gut feelings.
How to become aware of your thoughts, feelings & behaviours.
How to manifest personal change & an introduction on the body’s subtle energy system (the chakras).
Develop & strengthen dormant parts of your personality through fun and interesting archetypal awareness and interactive activities.
Spiritual/energetic First Aid for stressful situations.

ABOUT THE SESSIONS
Starting Wednesday 6.30pm 3rd March 2021. Classes will be held at Ellenbrook Life Balance at 38 Ellen Stirling Pde Ellenbrook which has plenty of free parking at the front or rear of building. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a small bottle of water. Although no prior experience in meditation is needed, we will be doing powerful guided imagery and visualisations, so an openess to this style of meditation is required. You will learn everything you need, step by step, in this 5 week course.

* A personally diagnosed, healing flower essence remedy to help with inner strength, increasing energy, emotional balance, emotional blocks and stress reduction.
* A personal journal and pen

Missed Session Policy:
Classes are transferable but not refundable. If you are unable to attend a class you may attend the missed class in the same course at a later date at no extra charge or 1 catch up class can be organised if more than 1 person cannot attend a class.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Anne Marie Johansen is a Holistic Counsellor & Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner and Meditation Instructor. She recognises the issues of being an empath and has been walking alongside others on their journey’s of personal development, discovery & healing for over 25 years. Anne-Marie runs Mandala Holistic Therapies, offering private consults in flower essence therapy, reiki, holistic counselling, meditation instruction and sound therapy. Woven into her therapies are the nurturing qualities and intuitive understanding of the body’s subtle energy system and creates a safe space to facilitate powerful change. Passionate about the education of the mind-body connection she runs regular workshops, events and courses in her peaceful home studio in Ballajura and offers consults and holds events at Ellenbrook Life Balance as well as various venues around Perth.
